This July, magnificent courtyard of the Somerset House will be transformed into a vibrant, open-air festival space at the heart of London. Somerset House Summer Series with American Express returns to the capital this summer with an exciting programme with eleven nights of events and gigs.

Launching with the lively sounds of Grammy-nominated The Internet, Summer Series promises an unforgettable line-up with East London’s MOBO and Brit Award-nominee, NAO, Mercury Prize-shortlisted Sons of Kemet followed by a soulful session with British singer/songwriter Jacob Banks.

The programme continues with BBC Sound of 2019 nominee, Rosalía with her unique fusion of flamenco, pop and R&B. The legendary trio Doves also joins the Summer Series 2019 and The Good, the Bad and the Queen headlines the midweek.

Berlin based Parcels who have collaborated with Daft Punk will be performing their retro-pop hits from their debut album whilst Cut Copy from Melbourne will play their mix of new wave and synth-pop exclusively for the festival. Guests will have a chance to enjoy the summer sun from noon to night with DJ sets and LA collective Soulection.

The festival will close with a party from Gossip with their signature garage punk sound. Full programme can be found on Somerset House website. Tickets are on sale from 22nd March.
